I've been to Italy a couple times and had my fair share of NY and Chicago-style pizzas. I'm not sure what the origins of this pizza is but it's amazing. Ordered late night, Right before they closed. They delivered in a flash and the pizza was BOMB! My friend called it in so the toppings were Tomato, basil and pepperoni and the pizza was super thin crust. I loved how crunchy it was. Not a big thin crust fan, but it was good. I was dismayed when they closed the original Barone's in Sherman Oaks - my favrorite piza place. Guess what - the new Barone's is just 5 blocks from my house. I love their pepperoni with bell pepper. I always order my pizza to go. Small take out place. A bit pricey, but well worth it to me. The pizza here is as good as the ones they serve at their restaurants, except you can just buy a slice here! It's so much cheaper than going to the restaurant and you get the exact same quality. Their lunch specials are so awesome and they are available on weekends too. I highly recommend coming here for quality food on the cheap.
