My mouth watered as the smell of real cheese, fresh vegetables, and sauce wafted in my direction. I looked down at my week old pizza which I delicately (and deliberately) stored in the freezer still looking fresh as ever. One bite and I was in heaven. After living in Italy for 10 weeks, visiting all the noteworthy pizza places in New york, Chicago, and New Jersey, I have to say...questo pizza e molto deliziosa. And what an honor to be only 2 hours away from it...those of you who live closeby, take advantage of this gem. This is truly an "italian pizza" made with wheat crust and real cheese! A healthy alternative to the so called "pizza" places in this day and age. Parking is a bit tough but if I'm willing to drive 2 hours to pick up pizzas at this place, you all better be willing to spend 5 minutes looking for parking.
Come here, order pizza, and enjoy la dolce vita!

If you eat here, you must try the pepperoni and Italian sausage. They are truly amazing. I have had pizza from an array pizzeria's, mostly in and around the San Francisco bay area, and I can safetly say that Barone's is up there with the best. I got a tip from someone to leave the left overs in the fridge for a day or two and it tastes better. Though, I wouldn't consider the taste better (not worse either), but it is definitely different and worth a try.

I've been to Italy a couple times and had my fair share of NY and Chicago-style pizzas. I'm not sure what the origins of this pizza is but it's amazing. I'm addicted to Barone's and eat until I'm immobile. I wish they had a location in LA. Until then, I will drive just to enjoy this place.

I was dismayed when they closed the original Barone's in Sherman Oaks - my favrorite piza place. Guess what - the new Barone's is just 5 blocks from my house. I love their pepperoni with bell pepper. I always order my pizza to go. Small take out place. A bit pricey, but well worth it to me. Street parking.

AMAZING pizza. So good and yummy.
However, I agree with the other reviewers on here. It's really overpriced for the size. A large Barone's pizza is a medium anywhere else and is more expensive. My roommate and I only order Barone's occasionally because of the price. We live right across the street and would probably order it a lot more if it were more affordable. But like I said, it's too good to pass up sometimes!

"This really hit the spot!"
My long time friend took me here when I was on vacation. I missed pizza from back east, and this really hit the spot. I cannot stress to anyone enough the importance of a good crust and dough. The sauce and cheese were perfect too. Wish I could eat here more often.

I recently moved back to West Side of the Valley and received a 'Welcome to the Neighborhood-free pizza' letter. And when I say free...I mean it was FREE!!!
So we ventured in to try it out, why not right? The staff was friendly and more than helpful. We grabbed our pizza (ready in about 10 minutes) headed out the door to take it home (wallet never opened) and was given this warning as I said goodbye by the employee that helped us, 'Enjoy it, see you when you come back...it's THAT addictive' Needless to say, I can't wait to go back. And I'm not even a pizza fan to begin with! But there's something so unique and yummy about the cheese blend and sauce that I'm definitely SOLD!!! Pizza=Delicious! And that's saying A LOT if you knew how little I like pizza!

"It's delicious and addictive!!"
I only get the House Special Pizza (pepperoni, sausage, peppers) because it's awesome. It's delicious and addictive. If they tell you your To Go order will take 15 minutes, it actually means 20 or 25. It's also more expensive than I'd like. On the other hand, the workers are usually peppy and I got a free pizza one Monday because every 10 or 20 people get a free pizza on Mondays.
